He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Castaneda and Marie Castaneda; and his wife Debra Androski. He is survived by: his pet Peanut; and his friend Gregory Melby. He is also survived by family members; as well as dear friends, including his co-workers.

In lieu of flowers, Gregg's family has suggested memorials to Hope Safe House.
