It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Schmidt (Racine, Wisconsin), who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis and Mary; her husband Herbert A. Schmidt; her daughter Kathy Kaplan; her son-in-law Dennis Heusdens; her sister Rosemary Roedema (Richard); and her siblings-in-law, Marlene Jenel (John) and John Janzow.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Schmidt (Joann), Julie Heusdens (Wayne) and Jane Michels (Trent); her grandchildren, Jason Schmidt, Eric Schmidt, Jesse Kaplan and Kristina Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Sierra, Addison, Ella, Selina and Justin; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Schmidt (Rose) and Jocelyn Janzow. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
Memorials may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
