She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Ivory Mae Moten (Smith); her brothers, John Henry Jr. and Charles Moten; her stepson Thomas Ivy; and her grandsons, Artis Echoles and Larry Echoles-Robbins.
She is survived by: her children, Artis (Michelle), Sandra (Albert), Cynthia, Daniel (Angela) and DeLon; her stepchildren, Elizabeth, MyKesha, Artisa, Tralon, Dontae, LeKeena and Jaquay; her cousins, Annie Lizzie and Helen; and her niece Arlene. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
