He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Guy Hammes of Hopedale, MA, Chad Hammes of Sherman Oaks, CA and Kim Hammes Frank of Mequon, WI; his grandchildren, Meredith Frank of Houston, TX, Maddie Frank of Louisville, CO, Tyler Hammes of Austin, TX, Nel Hammes of Sherman Oaks, CA and Logan Hammes of Sherman Oaks, CA; and his nieces and nephews, Mike Hammes of Burlington, WI, Jay Hammes of Racine, Jon Hammes of Mequon, Julie Rupnow of Racine, Lynette Reiter of Milwaukee, Miche Priaulx of Saukville, Carrie Hammes of Duluth, MN, Janet Hammes of Racine and Donna Hammes of Milwaukee.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Lake Catholic Church (7605 Lakeshore Dr, Racine, WI 53402). A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025.
