She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike and Liz; her sister Michaelene Pier; her nephews, Mikey Pier and Sean Putzer; and her partner Gene Spitzer.
She is survived by: her sisters, Elizabeth Durik (Dennis) and Cecelia Krepelan; her stepchildren, William and Allison Buss; and her brother-in-law Victor Pier. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
