Jay R. Slesarenko Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jay R. Slesarenko of Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 7, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Lorretta; his sister Lynn; his nephew Fredrick Laehr; and his pets, Toby, Mickey, Foots, Lady and Chewee.

He is survived by: his daughter Anh Gross (John); his grandsons, Iain Gross and Aaron Gross; his brother Gary Slesarenko (Alice); his nephew Matthew Slesarenko (Donna); his nieces, Sarah Aldridge (Billy), Carrie Laehr (Dave Harris) and Kristine Slesarenko-Borjes (Constance); his brother-in-law John Helland; and his close friends, Patty King and Jon Eeg. He is also survived by his dog, Buddy; and many other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to H.O.P.E Safehouse animal shelter, 1234 Lathrop Ave., Racine, WI 53405 would be appreciated.
