She was predeceased by: her parents, Hilmer "Curly" and Mary; and her siblings, Don Rubeck and Sue Wendelberger. She is survived by: her husband Raymond Nelson; her sons, David Nelson and Kurt Nelson (Lori); and her grandchildren, Kristen Venturini (Vince), Kaitlyn Lloyd (Phil), Robert Davis (Karin) and Jeremy Johnson (Sara). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association.
