It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Lotus Hammill of Racine, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph and LaVerne Margaret Dobecki; her husband Raymond Theron Hammill; her son Scott; and her brother Bruce.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Thomas (Ron), Gretchen Jensen (Danne) and Steve Hammill; her grandchildren, Kristan Ruiz (Armando "Duno"), Correy Cain (Jeremy), McKenzy Hammill, Chelsy Hammill and Ashley Metz-Hammill; her great grandchildren, Myanna Mason (Luke), Gavin Ruiz, Dakota Cain, Taylor Cain, Kamryn Cain, Donovan Ratz, Paityn Czechowicz and Aubrey Olsezewski; her great great grandchildren, Avery, Hazel, Jonathan, Easton and Carter; her brothers, David Anderson (Susan) and Greg Anderson (Debbie); and her friend Dolores Woods. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
