He was predeceased by: his parents, John Schwengel and Ruth Schwengel. He is survived by: his wife Carol Childress; his children, John Schwengel (Caryn) and Christine Schwengel; his grandchildren, John George Schwengel and Hailey Kira Schwengel; and his sisters, Ruth Schoenike (Ron) and Jeannie Dierkes (Bob). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Froedtert Cancer Center.
