He is survived by: his wife Kathie; his children, James Waltenberger (Antoinette), Heidi Pins (Thomas), William Waltenberger (Jennifer) and Katie Lindemer (Brian); his grandchildren, Lila, Rowan John Waltenberger, Mary, John, Lucy, Sally, Cecilia, Ramona Pins, Violet, Ivy, Milo John Waltenberger, Arianna and Lauren Lindemer; his brother-in-law James Jarapko; his aunts and uncles, Bob (Sally Stanek), Carol (Mike Schneider), Bill Stanek, Tom Petersen, Vince (Elaine Waltenberger), Joseph (Marlene Waltenberger), Elizabeth Waltenberger and John Waltenberger; and his close friend Bill Robertson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
