We are sad to announce that, on August 9, 2023, at the age of 75, John P. Pelej (Racine, Wisconsin), born in Chicago, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Libbie; his brother Joseph Pelej; and his parents-in-law, Howard and LaVertia Gaetz.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela; his children, Justin Pelej (Paula Kosower) of Evanston, IL and Jennifer Pelej (Jake Chaffin) of Belgrade, MT; his grandson Jones Pelej Jacoby; his brother James Pelej (Chris); and his sister-in-law Linda Pelej. He is also survived by aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
