He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Lee and Mary Ella Barker; his stepfather Ollie Shareef; his sisters, Mary Lee Jamison, Dhameera Shakoor and Ruth Hazel Barker; and his stepsister Ollie Mae.
He is survived by: his siblings, Magnolia Williams of Racine, Mable Hendrix of Racine, Emma Jean Barker of Racine, Shelia Nelson-Sudmine of East St and Pearlene Lee of Illinois; his siblings-in-law, Qadeem Shakoor I of Racine and Beverly Barker (Connie) of Illinois; and his nephew Harold. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
