He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis and Clara; his daughter-in-law Annette Schubert; his brother-in-law Ronald Wellna; and his father-in-law Richard E. Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Roberts; his son Jon Schubert; his siblings, Louis Schubert (Rae) and Karen Wellna; and his grandchildren, Andrew Schubert and Victoria Christianson (Elliot). He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society or to One's Favorite Charity have been suggested.
