He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma Louise (Ponsford) and Brent Kermit Heapes; and his brother Gary Alan. He is survived by: his brother Dan; his wife Ruth; his children, Kevin (Wanda) and Linda (Anthony); and his grandchildren, Elijah Suy, Naomi Suy and Aurora Heapes.
