She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Karlsen and Anton Karlsen; her husband Norman L. Peterson; and her brother Theodore Karlsen. She is survived by: her children, Linda J. Schweissinger (Darrel) and Steven J. Peterson (Mischelle); her granddaughters, Taylor and Kylie; her siblings, Kathleen Wakefield (William) and David Karlsen (Kathy); and her sister-in-law Mitzi Karlsen (Theodore). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the ALS Association-Wisconsin Chapter.
