Mary Margaret Simonsen Obituary
We announce the death of Mary Margaret Simonsen (Racine, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 80. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter George and Margaret George; her parents-in-law, Alan Simonsen and Christina Simonsen; her daughter Natalie Kay; her brothers, William George, Joseph and Peter George; her brother-in-law Kevin Lingard; and her nephew Terry Tornow.
She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Michael Simonsen (Oksana) and Amy Simonsen; her siblings, James George (Nancy), Timothy George (Kathleen), Dorothy Lingard, Susan Gehrig (Rick) and Charles George (Cindy); her sister-in-law Terry George; and her close friend Joann Payne. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1533 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402).
