He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy Mae Barton; and his sister-in-law Shelly Melby. He is survived by: his wife Joy Louise; his children, Steven Michael Barton (Karen Day) and Christine Barton; his grandsons, John Beesley (Cassie Fournier), Tony Beesley (Sabrina Siepler) and Nathan Rempala; his siblings, Steven George Barton (Leesa) and Gail Miller (Dan); his mother-in-law Sally Holterman; his siblings-in-law, Robin Hagen, Amy Davis and Bob Melby; and his aunt Shirley Gillette (late Don). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home & Crematory (4600 County Line Rd, Mt Pleasant, WI 53403). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 14th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
