With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Wirkus (Racine, Wisconsin), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 19, 2025 at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, James and Delphus; his son Benjamin Wirkus; and his siblings, Scott Wirkus, Jim Wirkus and Sue Friso.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Stewart; his children, Emily Falaschi (Adam), Jeremy Luedtke (Paula) and Eric Luedtke (Enmy); his grandchildren, Nadia, Lily, Hunter, Preston, Frankie, Jameson and Hannah; his sisters, Gail Salinas, Pat Delleman (Gerry), Kim Litrenta, Cathy Wirkus and Tracy Kutch (Rick); his sister-in-law Linda Fulmer (Charles); his nephew Jimmy Wirkus; his cousin Charlie Bauknecht; and his friend Earl Ball (Amy). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends.
