It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Miriam Susan Hynek (Racine, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 8, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rev. Martin Cizmar and Marie Cizmar; her daughters, Christine Barber (Kevin) and Katie Fox (Scott); her sister Kathy Hagemann; her grandchildren, Anne Harrop (Jeremy), Rachel Mianecki (Ethan), Daniel Barber, Miranda Richio, Maddie Westra (Ben), Amelia Mianecki, Caroline Harrop, Lily Harrop, Tenni Harrop, Blaise Mianecki, Violet Mianecki and Olivia Mianecki; and her friends, Pat, Steve, Don, Nancy, Terry, Judy, Jeff, Luan, Loretta, Ken, Roberta, Marie and Perry.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the CST St. John's Lutheran Church (1501 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to: HealthCare Network of Racine, St. John's Lutheran Church and School, or Racine Lutheran High School.
