She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Mae and Anna Mae; her adoptive son Ron Hewitt; her brother-in-law Richard Martin; and her nephew Lorne (Renee Martin).
She is survived by: her sisters, Patti Garin (Bob), Mary Tukua (Darrell), Leonora and Lee Nehmer (Jim); her close friend Rose Hewitt; her pet Pepi; Ed Hewitt (Shelly), Julie Wendorf (Bill), Betty Hewitt, Ron Hewitt (Jen), Monica Tossava (Paul), Amanda Binanti (Chris), Shawn Hewitt, Ryan Wendorf (Rachel), Carmen Stark (Gavin) and Daniel Wendorf (Alyssa). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Lucy School or to the American Cancer Society have been suggested.
