She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerhard and Margaret; her stepmother Millie Piehler; and her grandmother Lena Radewan. She is survived by : her siblings, Christine Piehler Vance (Ray), Heide Piehler, Richard Piehler (Wendy) and Thomas Piehler (Amy); and her nieces and nephews, Nikki (Patrick McCaffery), Dani Vance, Andrew, Emily Abby Piehler (Matt Rowntree), Aaron (Morgan), Austin and Alexander Piehler. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John's Lutheran Church (1501 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402). A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (1501 Erie St, Racine, WI 53402).

Memorials to St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church have been suggested.
