She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence and Ruth; her husband Jerome Simanek; her brother Thomas Weyker (Maye); and her parents-in-law, Donald Hansen, Leo Simanek (Lucille), Joseph Simanek (Christine), Valerian "Larry" Simanek (Adeline), Richard Simanek, Lillian Slaastad (Ralph), Wencil "Jim" Simanek, Sr., Mary Alice Simanek, JoAnn Wells (Claude), Dennis Baumgardt and Robert Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Jolene Verwey, Janis Frecka (Kermit), Andrew Simanek (Katherine), Mark Simanek and Jennifer Crawford (Bryan); her grandchildren, Jared Verwey, Lauren, Karina Frecka, Kayla, Alexa Simanek, Henry, Emmie Simanek, Gabe, Lucas and Morgan Crawford; her son-in-law Jim Verwey; her siblings, Mary Hansen, Jeanne Menier and Jerome Weyker; her sisters-in-law, Mary Jane Baumgardt, Marjorie Wood, Sr., Frances Simanek, Helen Simanek and Ruth Simanek; and her friend JoAnn Clickner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Memorials to St. John Nepomuk Catholic Church have been suggested by the family.
