He was predeceased by: his parents, Clare Hellenberg and Virginia Hellenberg; and his brother Carl Hellenberg. He is survived by: his wife Betsy; his daughter Dona Poelman (Kurt); his grandson Zachary Poelman; his son Jeffry Hellenberg (Andrea) of Wisconsin; and his sister Jean Mazza (Richard) of Florida.
