He is survived by: his wife Angela; his children, Nicholas Bartzen (Rachael), Elena Bartzen, Elise O'Brien (Daniel) and Natalie Sharbrough (Joel); and his grandchildren, Marco, Jane, Vivian, Wesley, Anna, Emilia, Peter, Ellis, Heidi, Bobby and Ada.
