He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo and Evelyne; his wife Patricia (Hart); and his sisters, Judy Niesen and Faith Mate.

He is survived by: his friends, Dan and Barb; his children, Michael LaPointe (Luann) of Racine, WI and Suzette Papadakis (Elliott) of Plainfield, IL; his granddaughters, Natassa and Selena Papadakis; and his sibling's children, Yvonne Green, Alan Niesen and Bradley Mate.

Donations to Racine Youth Sports (RYS) are suggested.
