He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Ruth; his siblings, David Malik, Linda Andreasen and Judy Malik; and his brother-in-law Bob Remsza (Barbara).
He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Remsza; his children, Steven Malik (Joanna), James Malik and Dr. Ronda Schmidt (Carl); his grandchildren, Mads, Jaxson, Beckett, James, Ryley, Elena, Ava, Levi and Luke; his siblings, Alan Malik (Chris), Elaine Malik and Mary Louise Malik; and his parents-in-law, Allen Andreasen, James Remsza (Carole) and Jane Remsza. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Mary's by the Lake have been suggested.
