He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Lyle and Betty Ball Lyle. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Liegler Lyle; his siblings, Gail Lyle Williams Worthington and James E. Lyle; his children, Elizabeth Lyle Pendexter, Paul H. Lyle II and Robert S. Lyle III; his children-in-law, Geoffrey Pendexter and Stacy Lyle; and his grandchildren, Cole Pendexter, Mason Pendexter, Samuel Lyle, Louisa Lyle and Augusten Lyle.
