He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Irene; and his daughter-in-law Judith Hansen. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Hansen (Wilke); his son David Hansen (Cheryl) of Menomonee Falls; his grandchildren, Megan Stieglitz (Scott), Kara Reese (David), Andrew Hansen (Samantha) and Maggie Hansen; and his great grandchildren, Addison Stieglitz and Kylie Stieglitz.

In lieu of flowers memorials to Holy Communion Church have been suggested.
