She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel and Viola; her stepson Walter Hermann, Jr.; her son Steven James; and her grandson Billy James.
She is survived by: her husband Wally; and her children, Robert James (Sharon), Mary Barrett (Barry), Thomas James and Charles James (Shelly). She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
