She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry and Helen; and her son Craig Staples. She is survived by: her husband Richard H. Staples; her children, Rebecca Novey (Zachary), Sara Yantis (Joel), Caitlin Stevens (Michael), Jacob Staples (Jenney) and Jodi Pagels (Christopher); her grandchildren, Charli, Jack, Carter Stevens, Henry, Donald and Cayden Novey; her nephews, Michael Christopherson (Melissa) and Steven Christopherson; and her niece Nicole Christopherson.
