She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick and Rosa; her former husband Howard Miller; her husband David Dower; and her siblings, Clara Brown (Jerry), Fred Schoeffler (Eleanor), Honey Lou Mieczkowski (Michael) and Robert Schoeffler (Pauline). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
