She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Rose Mary, Robert Hunter, Lemmie Ross and George Blackmon Sr.; and her daughter Lykia Laws.

She is survived by: her parents, Kathy L. Blackmon (Sherman) of Washington and Kenneth Blackmon Sr. (Alice); her siblings, Kenneth Blackmon Jr. (Felicia), Rosetta Blackmon, Angela Dailey, Dominic Dailey, Dante Dailey and Lucas Gilliam; her children, Marcell Broadnax, Alyssa Thomas and Amari Yardbrough; and her grandchildren, McQueen King, London Bodi, Marcellino Broadnax and DaMauri Thomas. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, special aunts, cousins, and numerous friends.
