He was predeceased by : his parents, Odiseas Gianou and Sofia Gianou (Vasiliadis); and his brother John Gianou. He is survived by : his wife Joan Gianou; his children, Elisha Gianou (Gina Damitz), Jason Gianou (Kelsey Friese), Sophia Franklin (Seth) and Christian Gianou; his grandchildren, Logan, Alistair and Lincoln; and his siblings, Leonidas Gianou and Kay Ehrick (Reece). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kimissis TIS Theotokou Church (1335 S Green Bay Rd, Racine, WI 53406). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at the Yorkville Cemetery.
