He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester McClain, and Pearlie McClain, Sr.; his daughter Michelle Freeman; and his sister Essie Jean Gully-Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Shirley McClain; his children, Sheila McClain-Hull (Larry), Sherrod McClain and Maurice McClain (Yemi); his grandchildren, Kori, Trentin, Kelly, Theodore, Lawrence, Mariah, Karissa, Shayla, Stephen, Kevon, Kaila and Sherrod, Jr.; and his brother Jack McClain (Beverly). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Draeger-Langendorf Funeral Home and Crematory (4600 County Line Rd, Mt Pleasant, WI 53403). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
