He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Stella; his granddaughter Rebecca Szczerba; his siblings, Eugene (Doris Clazmer), Dick (Jean Clazmer), Robert (Mary Ann Clazmer), Clarence Clazmer and Patricia Paragamian; his parents-in-law, David and Colette; and his brother-in-law Rev. Joseph Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Dolores "Dee" Anderson; his children, Diane Putra (Peter) of Racine, Joseph Clazmer of Racine, Jacqueline Dresen (John) of Racine, Suzanne Coe (Bill) of Racine and Judith Szczerba (Jeff) of Racine; his grandchildren, Stephanie Dresen of Kansas City, MO, Jared Coe of Racine, Brian Coe of Racine and Grace Szczerba of Racine; and his siblings-in-law, Perry Paragamian and Martha Clazmer of Racine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials have been suggested to either; St. Paul the Apostle Church, St. Edward Catholic Church, or St. Catherine High School.
