He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton and Blanche. He is survived by: his wife Cassandra "Sandy" L. Slagoski; his children, Kim Muhlenbeck (Kevin), Scott Meredith (Samantha) and Craig Meredith; his grandchildren, Arden, Evan, Taylor, Carson and Jacob; his brother Warren Meredith (Patsey); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jane Neuhaus (Bill) and Dick Slagoski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested memorials to the American Cancer Society.
