He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Pingel; his daughter Lorilyn Horn (Pingel); his parents, Martin Pingel and Laura Arndt (Konkel); and his siblings, Wendel, Lorina, Radolph and Betty.
He is survived by: his son Mark Pingel (Kathy); his grandsons, Mike and Steve (Kim); his great grandchildren, Carter and Collin; and his brothers, Martin "Rod" and Corvin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Arthritis Foundation.
