He is survived by: his wife Suzanne M. Monroe; his children, Lois Smith (Alva), Ronnie Tucker (Corinda), Rodney Farris (Vickie), Ricky Farris (Dar), Yvette Farris (Anthony Mann), April Shoemake (Derrick), Regina Norris and Toyia Williams (Steven); his siblings, Jean Para (Richard), Larry Farris (Gardenia), Diana Farris and Ronald Farris; his siblings-in-law, Michael Monroe (Susan) and Sherry Gordon (Michael); and his friends, Reverend John Thomas, Moses Reed, Willie Overstreet and Adonis Malone. He is also survived by his family and friends.
Memorials to the Alzheimer's Assn, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or Wisconsin Humane Society have been suggested.
