She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry DeVries and Jessie DeVries (Syens); her husband Ted DeVries; her daughter Carmen; her brothers, Frank DeVries (Alice) and Jerry DeVries (Nancy); and her brothers-in-law, John DeVries (Nettie), Gerald DeVries, Martin DeVries (Emma), Don DeVries and Jim DeVries (Shirley).

She is survived by: her children, Ken DeVries, Tony DeVries (Julie) and Amanda DeVries; her grandchildren, Nolan, Dylan and Abby; her great grandchild Aubrey; and her sisters-in-law, Patricia DeVries and Hilda DeVries. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be established to the Randolph Pool Fund in memory of Susan DeVries.
