He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Schuette; his wife Nancy Schuette of Andrew's Catholic Church; his father Erwin Sr. Schuette; and his siblings, Nancy Lee, June Anthony, Mary Hebert, JoAnn Thom, Karen Tuschl, Jacqueline Schroeder, Erwin Schuette Jr., Jerome Schuette, Guy Schuette and Robert Schuette.

He is survived by: his children, Eric Schuette and Marcy Johnson (Dennis); his grandchildren, Austin and Hadley; and his brother Gregory Schuette (Jane).
