He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Miller and Eleanor Miller (Hammen); his wife Sylvia; and his children, Gretchen, Sherry and Colista.

He is survived by: his children, Todd and Cindy Barber (David); his grandchildren, Joseph Barber and Elnore Barber; and his son Nick.
