He was predeceased by: his father Elwood McGovney. He is survived by: his son Kaleb McGovney; his significant other Ciara Stair; his children, Jolee, Jaelyn and Eliana; his stepchildren, Kyla and Graysen; his sister Alicia Warner (Brett); and his nephews, Thomas and Wyatt.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Herman of Alaska Orthodox Church in Scott's name.
