She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lowrey and Hazel Lowrey (Brown); her son Michael Slade; and her brothers, Myron Lowrey (Heidi) and Gene Lowrey.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Laufenberg (Lyle); her grandchildren, Lynn Laufenberg and Karin Beyer; her great grandchildren, Evelyn and Will Beyer; her sister-in-law Barbara Lowrey; and her friend Ruth Dobbs. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
