He was predeceased by: his mother Katie; his adoptive father Bruce Brenner; his grandparents, John, MJ Murphy, Ken and Marge Brenner; his uncles, Mike Murphy, Ed Kane and Peter Goodrich; his aunt Peggy Goodrich (Kane); and his friend Stacey Shaker.
He is survived by: his adoptive mother Mary Kane Brenner; his brother Brian Kane Brenner; and his adoptive daughter Sapphyre. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Colyn's memory to D4D.org or to a charity that supports those in need, reflecting his lifelong commitment to helping others.
