We announce the death of Gerald R. Gassner (Reeseville, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 88. Gerald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Gassner and Marie Gassner (Schmitt); and his brothers, Roman, Roger and Richard.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Gassner of Andrew's Catholic Church; his children, Terry Gassner (Marisa) and Patti Hermann; his grandchildren, David Gassner (Ingrid), Cassandra Kubiszewski (Brett), Matt Gassner (Kathleen), Callie Christensen (Scott) and Carly Herman (Trevor); his great grandchildren, Oliver, Edison, Colton, Madison, Graham, Logan, Amelia, Quinn, Adler and Owen; his brothers, James Gassner and Sylvester Gassner (Carol); and his siblings-in-law, Pat Waas (Stan), Joann Janz, Kathy Beistle (Lyle) and Tony Feucht (Mary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew Catholic Church. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Church.
