He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Day and Esther Day (Trankle). He is survived by: his children, Janith of Rewey, Craig (Jennifer) of Burton and Carrie Frischmann (Mike) of Mt. Horeb; his grandchildren, Stacy Ferraro (Tim), Brian Day, A. J. Day (Olivia Newbill), Ally Frischmann and Kyle Frischmann; and his wife Pam. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was a humble man who truly believed in supporting local organizations, therefore in lieu of flowers, chimes and memorials stones, memorials may be made to the Bob Day Memorial fund to support the Iowa Grant Education Foundation, Iowa and Grant County Cancer Coalitions.
