He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Dart and Frances Dart; his siblings, Dennis, Elwood and Nancy Opie; his niece Ellen Marie Opie-Williams; and his nephew Kenneth Dart.
He is survived by: his pet Kotah; his wife Joanne; his children, Julie, David, John (Laurie) and Daniel (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Amanda (Rod Olson), Emily (Nick Dornseif), Alex (Heather), Samantha (Garrett Smith), Jenna (Tyrone), Ryan, Brittney (Eric Wallet), Nicki (Connor Davidson), Jayden and Andrew; his great grandchildren, Ben, Cameron, Grant Olson (Gretchen), Carter Olson, Sydney, Tenley Dornseif, Scarlett, Wrenley, Rylan, Beckham and Emelynn Smith; his sisters, Karen (Dan Stroede) and Peg (Earl Thomas); and his sisters-in-law, Carol Dart and Betty Mae Dart. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, adopted dog Extra, and special friends.
