She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Regenfuss and Mabel Regenfuss; her siblings, Marilyn Wilson and George Carter; her granddaughter Christina Justice; and her great grandchild Noah Justice.
She is survived by: her former husband Harry W. Schmidt; and her children, David Schmidt (Crystal) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin and Connie Justice (David Justice) of Eagle River, Wisconsin.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church (201 N 3rd St, Eagle River, WI 54521). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
