She was predeceased by: her adoptive parents, Joseph Kempf and Elizabeth Kempf; her son-in-law William Maxwell; her grandson Anthony Sward; and her brother Charles Kempf.
She is survived by: her husband Lynn Laakso; her birth mother Donna Fuller (Lynn) of Milwaukee; her daughters, Angela Lucas (Duane) of Champlin, MN and Andrea Maxwell (Laakso) of Rhinelander; her grandsons, Michael McDermott III, Nicholas DeFilippis, Ezekiel Maxwell, Arlo Maxwell and Uriah Potter; her great grandchild Dazey Sward; and her pet Gracie. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
