He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Hurst and Helen Hurst (Kaiser); his siblings, Robert, Kenneth Hurst and Darlene Tollakson; his siblings' children, Lynette Hurst and Gary Tollakson; and his great-nephews, Kenny Hurst and Matthis Koch.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Reichert Hurst (Cheri); and his son Christopher Hurst (Jody). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Northlife Church (903 Boyce Dr, Rhinelander, WI 54501).
